Microsoft Great Plains Data Integration

Data integration is a crucial component of any automated solution and should include the capability to integrate information from both the Microsoft payroll/Human Resources software and the time and attendance software. Employee Transfer takes data from the Microsoft Great Plains Employee Maintenance screen and writes directly into TimeMaster. Information that is transferred includes Employee ID, name, address, birth date, and employment history.

TimeCard Transfer directly writes all employee time data into the Microsoft Great Plains Payroll Data entry screen.

Sierra does not utilize the Integration Manager or any import/export process when transferring timecard data or employee information. Import/export is a labor-intensive and inefficient process due to additional steps increasing the possibility for errors and complications. When you use Integration Manager, data does not transfer both ways, therefore requiring redundant and costly data entry in one of two systems.
